Three Kingdoms (Free!)

You know, that time period of Chinese history that’s about 189 to 280 or so. It keeps showing up in TV shows, books, comics, movies, and other stuff. Come read my opinions about it from a historiography perspective.

Three Mysteries (Premium)

Are you a weirdo who likes ultra-technical ancient classics on philosophy and wants to read about my attempts to understand it? Then come watch me try to understand the Three Mysteries 三玄, the canon of the Xuánxué “Study of the Mysteries” philosophical school that developed during the Three Kingdoms era.

The Three Mysteries are:

  • Lǎo-zǐ 老子 (or Dào Dé jīng/Tao Te ching 道德經)

  • Zhōu Yì 周易 (or the core of the I ching 易經)

  • Zhuāng-zǐ 莊子

Cáo Cāo’s Art of War (Premium)

Same as above, except with Cáo Cāo’s annotations to the Sūn-zǐ, or “Art of War.”
